Kansas Man Arrested on 8-Year-Old Warrant

Man turned himself in to Brookfield police on an active warrant for failure to appear.

Douglas Butler, 35, of NW Lyman Road, Topeka, KS, surrendered himself to Brookfield police on Oct. 3 after learning there was a warrant in his name dating back to January 2005.

Butler was unable to post the $1,000 bond and was transported to Danbury Superior Court for arraignment on charges of failure to appear in the second degree.
