DUI Charge After Accident in Shop Rite Plaza

Danbury man arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.

Edward Andros, 52, of Candlewood Park, Danbury, was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the Shop Rite Plaza on December 23.

While officers were investigating the crash they believed the operator, Andros, was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Andros failed standardized field sobriety tests and was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence. He was released after posting $500 bond with a court date set for January 4.

Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
