City Woman Charged with Shoplifting

A Danbury woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to shoplift from Kohl's.

Kohl’s Loss Prevention reported an alleged shoplifter to Brookfield police at 9:37 p.m. on Jan. 22. According to police, Kelly Kronen, 25, of Dean Street, Danbury, was accused of concealing items that she had not paid for and attempted to leave the store.

After an investigation, Kronen was arrested and charged with larceny in the fifth degree. Bond was set at $500 with a court date set for Feb. 5.
