Cell Phone Usage, Suspended License
Danbury woman pulled over for allegedly using her cell phone and receives a summons.
Brookfield police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 29 at 9:31 a.m. for a driver reportedly using a cell phone without a hands-free device.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, Courtney Evelyn Dwyer, 30, of Old Brookfield Road, Danbury, had a suspended operator’s license. Dwyer was issued a misdemeanor summons and released from the scene on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Feb. 12.
