Brookfield on TV: Old 'Rescue 911' Clip Based on Local Emergency Call

Segment from '90s reality show reenacts emergency call for 3-year-old stuck in a trunk.

A reader tipped us off to this excerpt from a 1993 episode of police reality show Rescue 911 about an emergency call for a Brookfield 3-year-old locked in a trunk.

The clip (8:23) features host William Shatner, as well as several locally recognizable faces.

Thanks to Andrew Kruczkiewicz (@wxpizza) for the find.

Brookfield was also on the show for the DiGrazia Winery robbery.

@charlie: The Brookfield Patch is so dead and useless that DeVAux isn't even here any more.....he must be in mourning somewhere but we don't really care. With everything happening in Brookfield the best they can do is pull out an old story from 1991. Shut this pig down, Aaron.

There was a big car crash in Brookfield last Saturday at the entrance to the I84 close to the Patio Place/Kohls. Not a single mention on Patch. I was very worried about the people as they were using the jaws of life on one of the cars and there were trapped people with IV bags and I was hoping to read that they were all okay. Unfortunately my car was held in position by the police for quite some time close by (I was not rubbernecking), so I was very concerned. I was hoping the Patch may have mentioned something, but still nothing.
