Brookfield Man Arrested on 2nd Elderly Assault Charge

85-year-old Brookfield resident arrested for assaulting another elderly person for the second time in a week.

The 85-year-old Brookfield man was taken into police custody again on September 7 after a similar altercation took place at his residence on Federal Road, this time resulting in a laceration to the victim’s arm.

Police were called to 883 Federal Road shortly after 5 p.m. on September 7 on reports of a violent domestic dispute that allegedly included a knife and several 9-1-1 hangups.

Once officers arrived at the scene, Caesar Dambrowski gave himself up and, after an investigation, was placed under arrest for assault on an elderly person, disorderly conduct, two counts of interfering with an emergency call and criminal violation of a protective order.

The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for a laceration to the arm.

Bond was set at $5,000 for a court date on September 10 and Dambrowski was released pending a hearing on October 1, in which he is expected to submit a plea.
