Brookfield Grad, Officer Promoted to Detective

Brookfield Police Chief Robin Montgomery announced the promotion of veteran officer Michael L. Zezza to the rank of Detective.  

Zezza, a 15-year veteran officer, was promoted to the rank of detective on June 26. Town Clerk Joan Locke administered the Oath to Detective Zezza at a special meeting of the Brookfield Police Commission.

Zezza was the top scorer in the recent promotional exam process.

Det. Zezza joined the Brookfield Police Department in September of 1999. After graduating from Brookfield High School, Zezza earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University.

During his patrol division career, Zezza has served in the capacity of Field Training Officer and Evidence Technician and has received numerous citations for exceptional police work.  

Zezza, his wife and children live in Danbury.
