Brookfield Firefighters Squelch Blaze at Pancho's and Gringo's Saturday Night

Mexican restaurant just south of Four Corners caught fire Saturday.

Brookfield firefighters were called to Pancho's and Gringo's restaurant on Federal Road Saturday night for reports of smoke coming from the building and a fire in progress.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene around 10:30 p.m. and found heavy smoke in the attic and confirmed a working structure fire.

The fire was knocked down by 11 p.m. and police and fire personnel cleared the scene before midnight.

No injuries were reported.

Federal Road was closed in the area Saturday night while emergency crews worked on the blaze.
