Arresting News: False Hostage Situation

Greenwich Police — with the help of Greenwich Hospital security —  a car from the valet parking section outside the  hospital emergency room.

A Trumbull man is accused of working with a Bridgeport man , Darien Police said.

Two men were charged in a scheme they allegedly concocted to steal money from a Stamford Cosi restaurant at which one worked in a supervisory position and the other formerly worked and .

A Tennessee man was issued an infraction in New Canaan for possession of marijuana .

Five out-of-town teens were arrested in Fairfield  from the South Benson Marina.

Norwalk police charged a man known as "Slice" after he allegedly stole a purse in a strong-arm robbery  and could identify him.

According to Darien police: 1. A woman driving a minivan downtown rear-ends a car. 2. The woman and her male passenger indicate to the other driver that they don't speak English; the man and woman switch places, and he begins driving away. 3. The woman  4. She wanders off. 5. The driver of the other car is able, somehow (police don't say how) to prevent the minivan from being driven away. 6. Police arrive and find the woman in a nearby back yard. 7. Police charge each of the minivan drivers with driving while under the influence.

A homeless man in New Haven was assaulted and robbed while collecting cans, reports the New Haven Register

 from a truck belonging to a Fairfield resident this week. Also stolen was a cell phone.

After allegedly being caught in , local police said a Stratford man told them, "I party a little on the weekend."

Despite the fact that it was almost 100 degrees outside, a New Haven woman  while she went shopping in Hamden.

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
