22 Packs of Heroin Found on Alleged Shoplifter

Two charged with shoplifting, one with possession of narcotics.

A shoplifting investigation led to two Danbury residents being charged with larceny and one with possession of 22 packages of herion.

At 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 26, Brookfield police responded to Kohl’s Department Store for a report of two individuals in the custody of Kohl’s Loss Prevention.

After an investigation, Kelly Ragette, 20, of Pembroke Road, Danbury, and Tabytha Donaldson, 26, of Sandpit Road, Danbury, were arrested and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree.

Additionally, Ragette was found to be in possession of 22 individually wrapped packages of heroin and charge with possession of narcotics.

Both were released on written promises to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Nov. 8.
