Winner: Readers' Choice Pre-Schools

The winner of our most voted on Readers' Choice to date.

We got an overwhelming response to this week’s , with 49 comments, a slew of new ratings in the Directory and almost 3,000 votes cast in favor of residents’ favorite place to school their tots. With the final tally in, with 20 Readers’ Choice Points, a 5-star rating and 1,048 votes in the poll (35 percent), is our winner.

Though came in second in the poll with 849 votes (28 percent), fewer ratings in the Directory puts the school in a tie for second with (489 votes, 16 percent) at 14 points.

also had a strong fourth-place showing, with 483 votes (16 percent), three ratings and 12 Readers’ Choice Points.

All four of our top winners maintain a 5-star rating in the Directory.

The Readers’ Choice Points system, , combines the votes gathered in the weekly poll with ratings in our Directory to crown the winner.  The highest possible total for a single contestant is 20 points.

Its important the people learn how to treat our flag, many of our veterans have made the ultimateRead More sacrifice for our country and flag. Don't leave it out all night long, don't drag it on the ground while putting it up etc.

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.

So Mandarin Chinese won't be a requirement? Perhaps Manchurin Chinese? Cantonese Chinese? MongolianRead More Chinese? Which Chinese are the British speaking these days? Their empire stretched in the Hindu speaking parts of Asia but they aren't teaching Hindu. A quandry indeed.
