School chief under fire for audit

I was stunned by Mr. Bivona’s  remarks about the districts overspending of  $1.175 million.  He seems to think that the resignation of Mr. Colley is what is needed to fix this disgrace that was brought onto Brookfield.  He made it seem as though he had nothing to do with this mess and blamed the problem on lack of communication with Mr. Colley. I think that Mr. Bivona threw Mr. Colley under the bus to save his own neck.  He is the superintendent of Brookfield schools and as such, he should know what is going on at all times. I’m in favor of Mr. Colley having resigned, however, more heads need to roll.  That includes you Mr. Bivona and anyone else involved in this disgraceful situation.  Based on all that has happened, my sense is to vote NO  on the upcoming March 3rd vote. The taxpayers of Brookfield should not have  to absorb this overspending in their taxes.
