"Joining the Republican Town Committee"

Interesting process!  Announce interviews with the RTC during the period December 9th and end December 21st.  Of course, this is right in the middle of the most intense Holiday season of the year.  Most people don't think about the RTC, they are thinking about their families and  friends.  Then, if someone indicates an interest in joining, they have to INTERVIEW with the same people who picked our gem of a First Selectman and have been consistently knocking people who are not to the right of Mary Davis, Gianazza, and Appleby the Hun off the Town Committee and various Boards and Commissions.  In short, unless you are a Tea Party Republican or a card carrying Libertarian, you aren't going to be welcome.  The only solution for Repulbicans who are sick of this manipulative behavior is to form a competing slate and challenge the RTC in a primary.  Now, this is going to be hard to do when you are trying to figure out what to get for your wife/husband and children for Christmas.  But, maybe, just maybe, you might put the future of Brookfield on that Christmas list and organize.  I have faith that this will happen so Brookfielders can select their course for the future without being manipulated by Mssrs Flynn, Grimes, Appleby, Kurtz, and Foncello.  Up to you Brookfield Republicans..up to you.  Ho, Ho, Ho and a very Merry Christmas to all.
