Even more interesting, indeed a disgrace, is the fact that First Selectman Bill Davidson can spend untold hours on a dog park issue, but has no time to see that Brookfield has a service to commemorate this day. Bethel, Danbury, New Milford, Newtown, Ridgefield all have memorial services of some kind but not Brookfield! Mr. Davidson, this is happening on your watch, and you should be ashamed!" —

Many of these municipal jobs would pay far more for comparable work done in the private sector, without the benefits.
