Marie M. Ventrudo, of Brookfield, wife of the late Donald P. Ventrudo, died Tuesday, Spetember 27 at Filosa in Danbury. She was born in Yonkers, NY on August 29, 1921. Marie was the youngest of 10 children of Charles and Mary (Carnelli) Moncalieri.
Marie moved to Brookfield in 1965 and worked in the late 60s in the offices of Brookfield Superintendent of Schools. She was a founding member of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the St. Matthew Society and Hospitality. Marie was also a former volunteer at Pope John Paul II Center for Health Care. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzle and cryptograms solver.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Patricia V. Osiecki and her husband Richard, her granddaughter, Morgan A. Osiecki of Bethel; her son, Donald M. Ventrudo and his wife Ellen of New Milford. She is predeceased by her son Robert C. Ventrudo, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 30 at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.
