Lennox Part 2

A Penny for My Thoughts

, (7/12 ) aroused myriad 'Comments' to the various online Patch sites. I certainly won't try to come up with a conclusion using said comments, but I would like to share what I learned from this conflict:

~There were 31 responses at the time of this writing...7/16/12 /8:30am.
~ 14 responses showed favoritism toward the Pit Bull

~ 6 responses showed either disdain or fear of Pit Bulls
~ 11 responses were either non committal or on a different topic

     Responses
     +++++++++

~ Pit Bulls are NOT a breed per say, but a 'type' of canine. American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier can be considered Pit Bulls.
~  It appears that Pit Bull types do well in family settings and are 'members' of groups that include children.
~ Apparently, Pit Bull types are less likely to "bite" than many of the 100 plus breeds.
~ Lennox was not genetically a Pit Bull type.
~ Lennox was considered a 'dangerous ' dog by Belfast officials.
~ The United Kingdom does NOT ban Pit Bull types. Regulations for these dogs are, however, quite stringent and include mandatory muzzling, spay/neutering, registration and so on.
~ Commenters have witnessed Pit Bull types aggressively doing harm to other dogs.
~It seems that  Pit Bulls who have correct handling and consequently healthy development from puppyhood on can be key to the adult dog's temperament.

"Understanding a species is the key to compassion.
A reverence for life entails RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP.

"Love is not enough."

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.

So Mandarin Chinese won't be a requirement? Perhaps Manchurin Chinese? Cantonese Chinese? MongolianRead More Chinese? Which Chinese are the British speaking these days? Their empire stretched in the Hindu speaking parts of Asia but they aren't teaching Hindu. A quandry indeed.

The board of education's policy should pertain to all employees of the Brookfield Board ofRead More Education.

The short answer is because they want to. If you spent twice at much they still would. EducationRead More personnel need to be monitored on social media like Patch.

I will lend a hand by voting yes for the school budget this Tuesday, May 21st. Teachers should notRead More have to pay out of pocket for school supplies.

Interesting that representative Scribner fails to represent Brookfield's businesses choosing insteadRead More to focus on Ridgefields.
