Musical Salute to Veteran’s Concert at the Brookfield Library

Billy Michael and his Band J and B Lite will perform at a free concert to honor local Brookfield and area veterans on Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. The performance will be held in the community room of the Brookfield Public Library, located at 182 Whisconier Road (Rt.25). The event is part of the Community’s 9th annual veteran’s program, “A Musical Salute to Veterans”, sponsored by the Brookfield Historical Society and the Brookfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10201.

Michael, who leads the group, will present a selection of popular music, which emerged during America’s military campaigns from the Civil War thru World War I and II and up to the present time. In addition, three decorated area veterans will be honored for their military service. Following the performance complimentary refreshments will be served.
