NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Housing Authority of the Town Of Brookfield
Not Exceeding $11,000,000 Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds (The Residences at Laurel Hill Project), Series 2014
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Housing Authority of the Town of Brookfield (the "Authority"), on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, commencing at 12:45 p.m., at the office of the Authority, 3 Brooks Quarry Road, Brookfield, CT 06804, for the purpose of providing a reasonable opportunity for interested individuals to express their views, either orally or in writing, as to the authorization by the Authority of the above captioned bonds (the "Bonds"), the proceeds of which shall be used to make a loan to finance the costs of (a) the planning, design, acquisition, construction, equipping and furnishing of an approximately 72-unit multifamily residential rental housing project to be known as The Residences at Laurel Hills, including, but not limited to, related permitting, environmental and geological testing, earthwork, site work, including reconstruction and improvement of surrounding roads, driveways and sidewalks, installation of storm drainage facilities and sanitary sewerage system improvements, and landscaping; (b) the funding of a debt service reserve fund, if any, for the Bonds; (c) a capitalized interest fund, if any, for the Bonds; and (d) the payment of certain costs of issuance and credit enhancement fees, if any, with respect to the Bonds, including, but not limited to, related legal, consulting, licensing, advisory, administrative, and governmental fees and expenses (the "Project"). The Project to be financed with the proceeds of the Bonds will be owned and operated by Laurel Hill Residences LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company, and will be located at 40 and 64 Laurel Hill Road, Brookfield, Connecticut. Interested members of the public are invited to attend. Individuals desiring to make a brief statement regarding the foregoing should give prior notice in writing to the Authority at 3 Brooks Quarry Road, Brookfield, CT 06804, Attention: Rolf Enger, Chairman, at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the Authority at the same address. Additional information regarding the Project and the Bonds may be obtained from the Authority at the same address.
