Locks of Love Hair Donation Drive

On November
22, 2013, Girl Scouts Natalie and Kelsey will be running a Locks of Love Hair
Donation Drive at Whisconier Middle School, in Brookfield. Locks of Love is a
non-profit organization which collects hair donations that are made into hairpieces
for children under the age of 21 who have suffered permanent hair loss from a
medical condition.

If you or
someone you know would like to help a child who has lost their hair to regain
their confidence, please come to our donation drive, and donate your hair to a
good cause.

All hair
donated must be clean and dry, and a minimum of 10 inches to be made into
hairpieces. Any hair shorter than ten inches will be greatly appreciated by
Locks of Love, also. Dyed or permed hair will be accepted, but bleached hair
cannot. Curly hair can be pulled straight to measure 10 inches, and layered
hair can be donated if the longest layer is 10 inches.
