Brookfield Girl Scouts presents:


Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies – an afternoon of fun activities and guest speakers to show your 5th grade and older daughters about self esteem, self defense, fun ways to eat a healthy diet, and to learn to recognize red flags in relationships.  Middle school and high school aged girls are under a lot of pressure through both social media and peers – the speakers you will meet at Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies will open dialogue for you and your daughters to continue after you leave.


WHERE:  Whisconier Middle School cafeteria


WHEN:    Feb. 24, 2013


TIME:      2:30 - 5:00 PM


COST:      $5.00 per person


There will be a silent auction with baskets of family fun
options to bid on.


All girls must be accompanied by a parent.


All proceeds will fund the Dot Engstrom Scholarship Fund which is awarded to a graduating Girl Scout each year. 
Dot Engstrom spent 50 years of her life as a Girl Scout and brought happiness to many Girl Scouts in Brookfield.

UPDATE on Norma, lost dog in Newtown: Carolee Mason (Newtown's Animal Control Officer) is watchingRead More her from a distance at the moment, armed with catfood to tempt her closer. The foster mom is on her way there again, this time with chicken, and Laura is on her way with hamburger. Problem is, this dog is VERY shy, skittish and quick to run away.
