AUDITIONS for RENT

 ,   Add to calendar
 Brookfield  See map

WHEN:

March 16h and callbacks on March 17th both at 12:30
Please arrive on time as a dance combination will be taught to everyone at the same time to begin auditions. You may be asked to stay after the vocal audition to work with other performers. (we expect a substantial turnout)

WHERE:

A Common Ground
33 Crosby Street
Danbury, CT 06810

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Bring a headshot and resume. Photos of any kind are fine if you do not have a headshot.

While this is atypical for my auditions, I will be asking performers to sing ONLY pieces from the show. A list of song choices is provided below. Additional duos may be added for callbacks.

Dress comfortably so you are able to move. There is no need to change for the vocal audition.

WE WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE LOOKING TO FOLLOW RACIAL CASTING OF THE ORIGINAL BROADWAY PRODUCTION.

Most importantly, I am looking to cast performers who are willing to consistently bring the energy, passion and LOVE that are essential to maximizing the potential of this remarkable piece.

Its important the people learn how to treat our flag, many of our veterans have made the ultimateRead More sacrifice for our country and flag. Don't leave it out all night long, don't drag it on the ground while putting it up etc.

Oh dont you worry, were gonna vote, but not going to vote to increase taxes thats for sure. Do withRead More what you have.

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.

So Mandarin Chinese won't be a requirement? Perhaps Manchurin Chinese? Cantonese Chinese? MongolianRead More Chinese? Which Chinese are the British speaking these days? Their empire stretched in the Hindu speaking parts of Asia but they aren't teaching Hindu. A quandry indeed.
