Brookfield Home Tour - 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Have you ever wanted to see behind the doors of some of the most
interesting homes in Brookfield? Opportunity knocks with the upcoming Brookfield Home Tour scheduled for Saturday, October 12th.
As part of Brookfield's 225th anniversary celebrations, the tour has been organized by the Women's Club of Brookfield. It includes a selection of 7 homes, both historic and modern. Among them area a home featured in 4 decorating magazine spreads; the former Tudor castle-style home of famed author, Joseph Hayes; and the home selected by Money Magazine to represent Brookfield in the recent article about the top 100 places to live in the United States. The club is very appreciative of the help received from all of the advertisers in the Home Tour Booklet. They are: Newtown Savings Bank, Savings Bank of Danbury, Union Savings Bank, Hensal Realty, Kellie Martone & Associates, Rand Whitney Container, Lucy Blessey and Pathways Counseling of CT. So whether you're in search of design tips or just want to satisfy your curiosity, grab a friend and see the homes that everybody will be talking about! The tickets are $20 each. Advancedtickets can be purchased at the Brookfield Library, the Park & Rec Office, the Town Clerk's Office or the date of event they can be purchased at the Congregational Church.
