First Selectman Debate: From Budget Revisions to Charter Revisions

The candidates start out with adjusting the budget before a vote and end on charter revisions.

The sixth question posed to Brookfield’s candidates for First Selectman — Democrat Howard Lasser and Republican Bill Tinsley — addressed a specific scenario encountered during this year’s budget process.

The candidates were asked whether they think the Board of Finance should make significant changes to the budget proposal after the Public Hearing if there was no call for changes at the hearing.

The candidates also touched on the recent charter revisions in their rebuttals.
