[Videos] Sandy Hook Promise: An Emotional Call to Action

Parents whose children were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School speak — about the pain, the love, the promise. Founders of Sandy Hook Promise take the stage, too.

Sandy Hook Promise took their message to the public on Jan. 14, 2013 — one month to the day from the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that claimed the life of 20 children and six educators and served as the catalyst for the organization.

Formerly known as Newtown United, the group is dedicated to common-sense changes that will prevent another tragedy from ever happening again.

It's so sad seeing the depth of their pain. I hope these parents can find peace someday.

I hope so too, though I imagine that they'd find your comment hypocritical given your gun stance and the actual facts of how their lives have been torn apart because some mother taught her sons to shoot and collect guns. She probably thought she had the right to choose too...and look what that did. Maybe you need to save your sadness for someone else. It might actually mean something then.
