Tornado Watch Until 11 p.m. Tuesday

The National Weather Service is calling for strong winds tonight: Tuesday, Sept. 18.

A tornado watch was issued by the National Weather Service for Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven Counties, including Brookfield, until 11 p.m. Tuesday night.

A wind advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Report an outage on the CL&P website
Call 860-947-2000 or 1-800-286-2000

And report your outages and send your storm photos and videos to Brookfield Patch, either by Twitter, our Facebook page or by email at Aaron@Patch.com.

Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
