Readers' Choice: Brookfield's Best Deli

Help us chose the best deli in Brookfield.

We’re putting together the Best of Brookfield and want your help deciding who makes the cut. Each week we’ll have a different topic for you, the readers to vote on and Friday afternoons we’ll unveil that week’s winner.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Brookfield Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Here are some of our favorite delis in Brokofield, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

  • Hi-Way Market

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday.

So tell us what your favorite place is to get a quick lunch. And don't forget to tell us why in the comments below.

What about Mobil at four corners? Great egg sandwiches!
Melissa Y March 05, 2012 at 05:47 PM
Yes Mobil..best by far.

Nimer's is nasty. It hasn't been clean in there in 20 years. Have you ever seen the giddle? Plus he doesn't rotate the meat and he is skimpy on it. I haven't been there in 3 years.

A franchise is in the lead? That is sad statement about Brookfield's Deli.
JM March 06, 2012 at 02:20 PM
Four of them I would not even consider to be Delis

Once again a Brookfield staple for 50 years is missing from the selection. Brookfield's Highway Deli. <sigh>
Aaron Boyd (Editor) March 06, 2012 at 11:29 PM
I'm not familiar with that deli, Steve. Where is it?

HiWay Market. About 2 miles south of Poncho's on the right.

Just found out that Nimer doesn't own it anymore. Might be cleaner.

It's a sad day when Subway is the best "Deli" in Brookfield. The next 3 (Bagelman, Four Corner Mobile and Panera) also don't meet my definition of a Deli. Full Belly Deli and Highway Market are better, but you really need to leave Brookfield for a good deli. Try one of these: For Pete's Sake Delicatessen (RT6 near Bethel Big Y) Newtown General Store (Next to the Netwon Town Hall) Hawleyville Deli (RT25 just before 84 Exit 9)

Aaron, you left off the old Joe's Pit Stop which is in front of the strip mall that has O'Connor's Pub.
JM March 09, 2012 at 01:03 AM
Pit Stop was sold and is now called Chihuahua"s
