The data used to create the infographics above was taken from the American Community Survey (ACS), a branch of the U.S. Census Bureau that computes estimates on housing, as well as demographics, income levels, employment and education. Complete data sets can be found on the Census Bureau’s FactFinder webpage.
According to the ACS, the housing data estimates are within a 90 percent margin of error, or a 90 percent probability that the estimates correlate with actual values within the margin of error.
