Frugal Family Deals of the Week

Local deal for February 16 through February 22.

This week, Frugal Family scoured our local sources and came up with some great deals.  For those of you who forgot to shop for Valentine’s Day there’s still time because we found a Valentine’s special on massages.  There’s also an opportunity to give blood with a chance to win free heat, plus something for your pets’ health. Also a special on soup and clothing to warm you on these cold February days.

  1. Couples Massage

    Deal: Euro Lux Day Spa, 317 Federal Road, Brookfield, has a Valentine special running during the month of February: one hour warm coconut couples massage at $190 per couple; one hour chocolate-lovers couples massage at $190 per couple; 30 minute sweetheart massage, which is a 30 minute hot stone massage and a 30 minute facial for $99.

    Good Through: Monday, February 28.

  2. Blood Drive

    Deal: The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a blood drive at St Joseph’s School, 5 Obstuse Hill Road (route 133), Brookfield. Each presenting donor will be eligible to win free heat for a month ($200 maximum) paid directly to the utility provider.  Call 1-800-733-2767 or log onto their website to schedule an appointment.

    Good Through: Sunday, February 20, from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.  

  3. Pet Clinic

    Deal: Petco, 169 Federal Road, Brookfield, has a February Pet Lovers Special. All rabies vaccinations are $5. 

    Good Through: Saturday, February 19, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, February 20, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

  4. President’s Day Sale

    Deal: Kohl’s on Federal Road, Brookfield, is having their President’s Day Bonus Buys sale. Take an extra percentage off (15 percent, 20 percent or 30 percent) of their sale priced, regular priced or even clearance-priced merchandise when you use your Kohl’s charge card. Everyone gets $10 in Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent. This coupon is redeemable at Kohl’s from February 21 through March 8.

    Good Through: Monday, February 21. 

  5. Smart Deals

    Deal: At CVS in the White Turkey Plaza on White Turkey Road, Brookfield, when you use your CVS card Progresso soup is buy one get one free (limit eight), CVS nuts (including Cashews 19-20 oz) are $5.88 (limit three), and CVS brand 16.9 oz bottled water, 24 pack is 2.99 plus deposit (limit).

    Good Through: Saturday, February 19
