Brookfield has a Starbucks? Since when? I thought DANBURY had the exclusive on that other than downtown Newtown & Bethel? I thought Brookfield was the home to Dunkin Donuts with one at every corner.

That's right, unfortunately I can't get WiFi at Dunkin' Donuts and many Brookfielders frequent the Starbucks — it's right over the line. I'm also going to be holding a second "office hours" every month at the library, for those who don't want to make the trip to Danbury.

What about panera? They have Wi-Fi.

They do, and I was there for our last "office hours," however you only get a half-hour of WiFi there and it took me almost that whole time to load a single page — so that's out.

McDonalds offers WiFi, but I cannot attest to its' speed. It is a Brookfield business. Perhaps this is an opportunity for a local business to offer to host your "office hours". It would be free advertising for them. Come to think of it, I think Mario's Pasta Garden offers free WiFi as well.

Rob, Mario's has the best pizza AND WiFi. A Brookfield staple for over a quarter of a century.

Thanks Steve! My wife and I frequently have lunch at Mario's, but I haven't tried their pizza. The do make great Stuffies and their bread is fantastic.

You're welcome. Mario's is indeed one of the great hidden treasures of Brookfield. I agree with you on the rest of their fare besides pizza, We have never been disappointed eating there.
