Nominate Brookfield's Best for Readers' Choice 2012

Click on the category below and nominate the best of local businesses in Brookfield.

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about Brookfield to nominate the best spots in town.

There is a lot to celebrate about Brookfield: the lakes, beautiful scenery and great retail shopping. But which shops do you think stand out among the rest?

Help Patch determine the best of the best by entering your nominations in each one of these categories. We will be accepting nominations until July 9.

It’s easy:

  1. Click on the category that you'd like to submit a nomination to. Submit nominations to as many categories as you like!
  2. Nominate your favorite businesses in the comments. (Because this is a contest, you’ll need to create a Patch login to nominate and vote)
  3. Repeat the first two steps to continue submitting nominations.

Sign up for the Brookfield Patch e-newsletter to receive notice of when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest. And don’t forget to tell your friends on Facebook, Twitter and email!

Then, on July 23, come back to vote on which nominee is the best. Whoever gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner.

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.

So Mandarin Chinese won't be a requirement? Perhaps Manchurin Chinese? Cantonese Chinese? MongolianRead More Chinese? Which Chinese are the British speaking these days? Their empire stretched in the Hindu speaking parts of Asia but they aren't teaching Hindu. A quandry indeed.
