The boy's soccer team started off the season with a solid 2-0 win over the New Milford Green Wave. After an impressive preseason, the Bobcats continued their winning ways this afternoon. The goals didn't come until the 2nd half when Freshman forward Sam Stueck tapped in a goal off a free kick from Senior Nick Riberio. Only 15 minutes later, Junior Lucas Rodrigues scored off an assist from Senior Tom Walker. The Bobcats defense held their own with a strong outing from goalie Tom Burkhart. Both teams played well, allowing the game to be considered a border war. Brookfield takes on the Immaculate Mustangs on Monday night at 7 at BHS.
