Brookfield Soccer Faces a Trio of Must Win Games

As the season dwindles down, the Bobcats stand with a 6-2-5 record. First off, I apologize to all my readers (and by that I mean my only one, hi mom) for such a long time span without any articles. Anyway, after starting the season 5-0, Brookfield slowed down a bit going through a rut filled with ties and a couple losses. After a thrilling 0-0 draw against Joel Barlow Monday night, the Bobcats face the New Fairfield Rebels Thursday afternoon. For both teams, a lot is at stake on Thursday. For the Rebels, this is their last conference game and they need this win to clinch a SWC Tournament berth. With this opportunity at hand, they are sure to come out with some fire. For the Brookfield side, the Bobcats need to win out if they wish to qualify for a better seed in the SWC Tournament, so the first game against New Fairfield is crucial. After New Fairfield, the Bobcats end the season with two home games where they'll take on Cromwell High School, finishing with a night game against the Bunnell Bulldogs. The final stretch proves to be an exciting and intense one for the Bobcats as they look to heat up when they start the quest back to the SWC Finals.
