Tenth Annual Jazz Party at The Brookfield Library
The Brookfield Library's Tenth Annual Jazz Party will be held on Sunday, August 26, at 4:00 p.m. on the north Lawn of The Brookfield Library. Featured musicians are Randy Sandke, trumpet; Dan Block, clarinet; Mark Shane, piano; Murray Wall, bass; and Tom Melito, drums. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Join us!
Free ice cream will be available from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. If it rains or is otherwise necessary, we'll move the concert into the Community Room.

If a…Read More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
