Video: A Drive Through Brookfield 23 Years Ago

Former Brookfield resident uploads video of a 1989 drive through town. What do you recognize?

Former Brookfield resident Bruno Freire post a YouTube video of a 1989 drive from Brookfield to "the old Bradlees parking lot on our way to The ToyStore in Danbury."

Freire posted a link to the video on Facebook, explaining that he "spent a good portion of my youth in Brookfield and recorded this VHS video when I was 12."

"Haven´t been there in years," Freire added, "has it changed much?"

Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
