In this weekly feature we will introduce you to one DAWS pet who is in need of a place to call home.
Name: Sandy
Description: Poodle/Terrier-mix
Gender: Male
Age Rage: 0-2
Sandy is a one-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix, who according to the shelter is a "friendly guy who likes to meet new people although it may take him a few minutes to warm up." He doesn't mind being around other dogs and could use a little more training. DAWS said Sandy's best home would be with an older, experiend dog owner family.
You are free to visit Sandy or any other adoptable animals at DAWS during open house hours, Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. or on the weekends from 2 to 4 p.m. The shelter is located at 147 Grassy Plain St. Click here for a map.
