Brookfield's Top Dog and raffle winners received their awards during an informal -- and rambunctious -- ceremony at town hall Monday morning.
This year's Top Dog, a large Husky named Mikey, was comparably calm throughout, while the smaller dogs barked and helped around him.
"They're all Top Dogs to me," Town Clerk Joan Locke said as she passed out treats. "Anybody who cares enough to put their dog up there is a Top Dog."
Along with a $125 gift card to Brookfield Animal Hospital for Mikey's family, 13 other canines won raffle prizes, including groomings, nail trimmings, pet sitting and gift certificates for pet supplies.
