1 of 2 Aug. Full Moons Rises Tonight

A full moon ushers in August and a blue moon will ease us into September.

If you believe that , prepare yourself for this: People will be acting stranger twice this month due to two full moons rising in August.

The first full moon rises tonight: August 1. The second full moon in August will rise on August 31, thus earning itself the title of "blue moon."

Blue moons are unusual, according to the EarthSky website. Months with two full moons occur about every two to three years, the website stated.

If a…Read More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.
