Cronin receives Humanitarian Award

At the Brookfield CT Lions Installation of Officers and Annual Awards Night, Richard Cronin was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellow Award for Dedicated Humanitarian Services. This is the highest award a Lion can receive from the International Lions Organization The award was presented to Richard Cronin (L) by Brookfield Lions Club President Robin Montgomery (R).

The Lions Club is the largest Service Organization in the World with over 1.3 million members in 45,000 Local clubs located in over 200 countries and territories. The Brookfield Lions support a number of local, regional and international causes including Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation, Eyeglasses for the Needy, Red Cross Blood Drives, Ability Beyond Disability and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Brookfield Lions meet twice weekly on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
