Brookfield man charged with DUI

NEW MILFORD – Police charged a 26-year-old Brookfiield man with drunken driving after an accident at Pleasant Street and Housatonic Avenue early Saturday.

Richard Robertson, of Richards Road, was also cited for making an unsafe turn  as a  result of the 1:40 a.m. crash.

Police said no one was injured and Robertson was released on $500 bond pending a Jan. 6 appearance in state Superior Court in Bantam.
