Town Vote for Dog Park

Attention Brookfield Residents: After much discussion with many people it has been decided (at least by our group) that the Conservation Committee IS correct and we have explored all other possible options; both town owned and private. All the other "stuff" going on in the background is noise and doesn't influence anything. People have their preconceived notions.

The only way to get a dog park in Brookfield is on Happy Landings. This is one fenced in acre for off leash, fenced in play and social gathering. The land will remain in its natural state and does fall under the terms of the passive recreation agreement. Insurance is not an issue if you have been paying attention. Money does not fall on the taxpayers. This is a tiny piece of Happy Landings... don't be fooled. Again, if you want a dogpark in brookfield all you have to do is show up and vote: June 18, Brookfield HS Auditorium at 7 p.m.

All other political nonsense needs to be drowned out now because it doesn't help. Our energy should be geared toward one thing and that is getting people out to vote! Happy Landings is the best spot for this project.

We have no control over the future but we do have control over what will happen at the vote. So, bring all registered Brookfield voters you know to vote that night if you want a dog park in Brookfield. Every single vote is extremely important!

Oh dont you worry, were gonna vote, but not going to vote to increase taxes thats for sure. Do withRead More what you have.

I would recommend supporting an increase similar to Ridgefield's which was under 2% (1.97%). If aRead More community like Ridgefield can perform at high levels with an increase under 2%, the Board of Education, in asking for almost twice that is openly admitting that they have installed inefficient management in school administration. Further, the sewer system on the referendum will require municipal funding since it is backed by the full faith and credit of the town of Brookfield and reduces the town's borrowing ability - the advertisement for which indicated it would not impact municipal funding.

So Mandarin Chinese won't be a requirement? Perhaps Manchurin Chinese? Cantonese Chinese? MongolianRead More Chinese? Which Chinese are the British speaking these days? Their empire stretched in the Hindu speaking parts of Asia but they aren't teaching Hindu. A quandry indeed.

The short answer is because they want to. If you spent twice at much they still would. EducationRead More personnel need to be monitored on social media like Patch.
