Two Brookfield Dancers Take 1st Place in San Juan
Brookfield dance students sweep the competition with Fred Astaire Dance Studios.
Ingrid Totten and Mary Miller, with their instructors Andy Dabbert and Elmar Schmidt from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Brookfield, reigned supreme at the Fred Astaire World Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 24. Competing in both Smooth and Rhythm championships in the Bronze division, Mary and Ingrid danced their way into first place positions, taking home both Championship titles.
In addition, Ingrid also brought home a championship in the Standard dance division.
Both Mary and Ingrid have been dancing for one year with their instructors, Andy and Elmar, at the Brookfield Fred Astaire Dance Studio and take great pleasure in their time at the studio.
