Police Investigating Rash of Daytime Burglaries
Police are reporting multiple incidents since December.
Brookfield police are investigating several daytime, residential burglaries that have taken place over the past two months.
Indications are that these burglaries are taking place quickly, when no one is home and the perpetrators are not inside the residences for more than a few minutes. Entry is usually gained by forcing open or breaking a window, police said.
The thieves have taken jewelry, small electronics, cash and credit cards.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brookfield Police Department. If you suspect you are witnessing a burglary in progress, dial 9-1-1.
Residents should be mindful of any suspicious vehicles or people in their neighborhoods and take note of any descriptions that might be helpful in locating them.

They still haven't solved the Case of the Mysterious vandalism that occured in June 2011 and did over $15,000 worth of damage. Then again, they haven't located the Shop Rite purse snatching victim yet either. Lots of challenges.
An ERA employee also reports problems.
