Joyce (Clark) Insull, of Brookfield, and loving wife of 49 years to Edward V. Insull, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Danbury Hospital. She was born October 15, 1943, in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Merritt Thomas and Lillian (Egan) Clark.
She was an active member of the Congregational Church of Brookfield, the Bell Chior and she chaired the church fairs. Joyce loved to drive and she also loved the sun. She enjoyed playing cards with her card group. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, Edward, she will be missed by her two children, Heather Insull of Branford and Jeffery Insull and his wife Jessie of Sturbridge, MA; her grandson Benjamin; her sister Joan Thoele of Wilton and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the .
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at , 786 Federal Road, Brookfield.
