Danbury police said Tuesday the car that hit and killed Dong Lin on Nov. 22 was a 1987 Buick Regal. Lin, a student at Western Connecticut State University, was killed crossing White Street in the area of Hoffman Fuel.

Police said the investigation is continuing and an arrest warrant will be sought. Police said the suspect was interviewed by officers of the Traffic Division on Monday.

Police Chief Al Baker said the suspect is cooperating with the investigation. Police said Tuesday they had the car on Nov. 25 and began searching it for evidence then.
