Whiz Kid’s Accomplishment: Tara is part of an ensemble cast which performed an off-Broadway musical review of Irving Berlin songs called “I Love a Piano” this past weekend at the TBG Theater in New York City.  They will also perform “I Love a Piano” July 22 and 23at the Ives Concert Center on WestConn’s Westside campus.  

Key to Awesomeness: Tara Llewellyn graduated from Brookfield High School in 2009. During her high school career she sang in the Small Group of the Brookfield High School Chorus and performed in several of the spring musicals. Tara is presently a Theatre Major at Western Connecticut State University.

“I Love a Piano” is a presentation of the WCSU’s Theater Arts Department and was originally featured as part of its spring program in April. The musical features 64 of Irving Berlin’s songs.

Tara will also appear in “Seussical: The Musical” on July 8, 9 and 10 at the Ives Concert Park.  Tara describes it as a “wonderful children’s show for anyone who would like to come!”
